Negative on the generator. Still looking at options and investing in the repeater system has slowed purchasing materials for the drv recently.

Well you do need a portable repeater on a different frequency, just in case the oher goes down....telescoping pole with maybe a comet gmrs basr antenna.  A scanner to to listen to public safety, and a high power mobile for simplex operation, covering all bands or a stack of radios covering both ham and commercial.  You can tell i like radios. 
What lessons did we learn from the movie lone survivor?  Having good comms can make a difference.

Hea Joe. I would love to install a filtration system. Got any ideas? For now I got a poland spring dispenser if need be.

I now keep enough 5 gallon Poland sprint bottles at my house to hydrate a small village for a few days lol

i have a pool with 12,000 gallons in it all i need is a good filtration system. and to think my wife thinks we got it got to swim in. she has no idea.

I have a Katadyn filter in my setup. However, maybe you could fit some blue food grade or water containers under a makeshift seat?
