If you dont have already you may want to consider adding:

Gloves (work type)
Gloves (medical/safety)
Flashlights
Batteries
Socks (various sizes)
Road Flares
Traffic Cones
Gas Shut Off Wrench and Lock out ties
Tarps
Duct Tape
Pop Up Canopy (might not be practical in limited space)

I agree, speak up everyone.. The storage space on the DRV is not huge, we need to make sure that what goes on are useful items. The more input the better. :-)

If you going to use it for radio or electronics.  You should get a ups.   Electronics will need clean electric.  I bought two of them.l last year.  I used one. When I went to use the other it was doa.   The warranty ended so I can't return it.   If anyone does electronic repair.  I would be willing to donate it the club.

FYI some models need a functional battery to even turn on.  It may just be a dead battery from sitting.  If you can try swapping batteries between the units you can see if it works.

BE VERY CAREFUL IF YOUR MODEL REQUIRES YOU TO OPEN THE UNIT EXPOSING HIGH VOLTAGE.  UPS CAN STORE A CHARGE INTERNALLY.

Regarding the Generator, the two cycle ones are good little generators, just make sure you get the one that also has the 8 Amp DC output, good for charging and maintaining batteries in a pinch.  Harbor freight has two models, it is usually the one without the DC outlet that they put on sale.  My 2 cents.

Ya it's doa. I tried the other battery. So it's not the battery.  It was a refurbished.  I'm hoping it's just a bad switch or something.
