Hello, new to GMRS and joined up after getting my license in 2022. I've been an amateur radio operator since 1996 and have stayed a Technician class. My daytime job is working in the info tech field as a Sr. Problem Manager at Broadridge and the rest of my time is spent with the Patchogue Fire Dept, Patchogue Ambulance Co, Suffolk County Volunteer Firefighter's Association and the Patchogue Lions Club. I feel GMRS is an incredible alternative and also supplement to amateur radio so I am very interested in getting to know more.
I work mostly from home and have the GMRS repeaters on most of the time so I hope to meet many of you and discuss the radio world (I really have no interest in listening to people's political beliefs on either side so I hope we can stick to relevant topics).
