Hey there!
« on: May 15, 2022, 01:27:30 pm »
Hello!
Tom WRQI657 in Islip Terrace here! New to GMRS, new to BTG repeater!
CB’r from way back, shortwave DX, nobody on CB anymore, so upgraded to GMRS, pandemic project was to get my Ham license, but never did, so GMRS it is!
Avid outdoorsman  and RVr!
Radios: all handheld
Baofeng UV5R (only for listening)
Baofeng UV9G for GMRS

Now just gotta figure out how to program radios for split tones…any tips?
See you on the radio!
