Rich and Janet in Coram. I am the WROB500 that has the masculine voice and Janet the feminine one. We will both be on the air, together and at times not at the same time and scan and listen a bunch. We like to meet new people. We found GMRS radio from experience with having FRS radios in the past for personal events when we were split up at a venue or State, County or Town park. Both of us do not want to solely depend on a cell phone or the internet for communications. GMRS radio has given us that functionality and BTG having the east and west repeater system the coverage has been stupendous. We are both thinking of taking the Technicians test so we can have more air waves to explore. "Playing Radio" as many say, is what We like to do. Thank you, Joe, Max, Jim, Tom and Craig for the warm welcome. We are both looking forward to talking and know who is within simplex range of us in Coram. Communication is key.
