...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL AFFECT QUEENS...KINGS AND SOUTHWESTERN NASSAU COUNTIES...
 
* At 328 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located over Crown Heights, moving southeast at 30 mph.

* Winds in excess of 40 mph and pea size hail are possible with this storm.

* Flatbush,
* Rockaway Beach,
* Crown Heights,
* Woodmere,
* Kennedy Airport,
* Jamaica,
* Cedarhurst,
* Atlantic Beach,

* Ozone Park and
* Arturo Toscanini Ps.


* Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.

* Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm.
