One of the reasons I got back into radio, both GMRS and Ham was because of my concerns that we didn't have a solid way of evacuating large animals in an emergency. The fiasco out in Ridge when a general call went out for horse trailers resulted in a traffic nightmare made both the IHA and Bohemia FD put a plan together.
I will be presenting it February 23rd at 7:30 PM. I am attaching a flyer. My plan uses GMRS as a way to coordinate, so if you can attend. please bring you HT. We can demonstrate how we can use multiple channels to coordinate trailers.
