Good evening admin as most of you know I will be MIa as of September 21 2015 due to having to have major back surgery again. I have been approached by a few members that the Admin's should put up something for me so everyone can stay I touch with me while in the Hospital For Special Surgeries in Manhattan next week. Unfortunately I do not have a room number yet but will have my cell phone and my email address will be monitored daily. If this is something that you guys would like to do it's fine with me. I do however plan on bringing my HT 1250 in the hopes that I can hit the west repeater. I'm also hopping I will be on the Net tomarrow night to say so long for now and will see you all when I get up and around again. Thanks again WQTP 202 Ron Weldon from middle Island

We will be wishing you the best and thinking of you. Definitely bring that ht with you. Pretty sure Hospital for SS is lower west side but any elevation over 1st floor should get you out.

I agree with TJ, as long as you can get a little elevation i think you will have no issues with an HT1250. I wish you a speedy recovery and if you need anythinhg please do not hesitate to reach out.

Thank you all this is going to be a difficult surgery to do but I will come back from it. Just need to get mind over body working even though I am scared shit less over it. Excuse the language.

Best of luck to you Ron. I wish you a safe recovery and I hope you get back on your feet soon. Great idea to bring your HT with you and like TJ & Tom said, you should have no problem as long as your on a higher floor and elevated.

I'll be looking forward to your check in tonight and again, wishing you a safe recovery.

ron good wishes to you, and a speedy recovery. and like tommy said if you need anything DO NOT HESITATE to reach out to one of us. and if for some reason you cannot get on the repeater system please make sure that someone gives us an update as to how things went.
