Title: Hello from Mount Sinai
Post by: WRUR777 on September 30, 2022, 08:38:24 pm
Hello, all. I’m a new GMRS licensee, WRUR777. I’m not unfamiliar with radio, as I’ve been using marine VHF my whole adult life, and I was formerly a dispatcher at the Port Jefferson Fire Department. I am now Department Chaplain. I am a Boy Scout leader (14 or so years and counting) and Chaplain of my son’s Troop. I am active in SASS cowboy action shooting (alias: Hiram A Boeuf), which I also enjoy with my two sons. I’m a Past Master of my Masonic Lodge and I currently serve as Treasurer of one lodge and Chaplain and Trustee of another. I’ve been working in my family business for over 35 years, and hope to find a few minutes of spare time to enjoy radio as a hobby. Looking forward to talking with you on the air.
