Update
« on: August 07, 2017, 09:53:27 pm »
The Florida North system is a new addition and still undergoing it's construction with area testing. This system will start out with minimal power while checking for any co-channel interference. The 462.625Mhz pair seem to be a available option and we will continue to monitor to ensure any other established systems are not effected.

It appears GMRS is not widely used in this particular area and would serve a great purpose to those communities it reaches.

This system will be networked with the current Long Island system allowing the opportunity for Long Island transients to utilize this system while enjoying the Florida sunshine.

Like always, if any emergency effects either area, this link maybe disconnected at any time at the discretion of the repeater owners to allow for local emergency or priority communications.
