Yes, absolutely, many filters...
We all have water shut off's in our homes. (or at least I do) I was thinking of adding another valve to my current water pipe system.
Again, no idea if this can be done.. Of coarse shut down the main, then turn my water valve with an electric pump like a RV or camper..
Just trying to think of ways on how to do it... If we are going to prep, might as well do all avenues of the task...
Yes, most if not all have the Main SCWA Gate valve you show. SCWA Valve always before the Meter, Homeowner Valve is after the meter. Heres a funny story, I had SCWA come to my house to do a pressure test. In the
conversation, I told him that when I shut of the water in the house, I always use the valve you show. He then proceeded to explain to me that that's only for SCWA use and I'm supposed to use the Homeowner main shutoff
valve (which I have). I said to him, look at it, it looks like its ready to explode from age. He turned it and guess what a found a day later, I big puddle of water. So Now I had to pay for a plumber to replace my valve.
I said to my wife, "And thats why I never used that valve"!!!!
BTW- I see the two Black Zip Ties, Nice!!!!!!!!!
